Stewart Whitehead

Level 2 Coach and Youth Head Coach

Stewart is a level 2 coach whose passion lies in swimming. He has an impressive background in competitive swimming, being coached by Olympic silver medalist Martyn Woodroffe and competing to a national level as a youth. He first got involved in triathlon when he moved to the area in 2015, where he participated in a Try-a-tri event organised by the club. From that day he became a member of the club and began his triathlon and coaching journey. Stewart coaches both adults and juniors and is passionate about encouraging participation in multisport and to help individuals achieve their goals, whether it is for fitness, competition or just improving their swimming. As head coach of the youth team Stewart looks to inspire children of all ages by running fun and friendly sessions encouraging them to take part in triathlon events. Stewart also coaches with Milestone Swimming Club and offers filmed Swim Analysis to help with swimming technique.
